Position: Janitor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. The Janitor is responsible for cleaning work areas, restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas while following all safety and sanitation procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other surfaces.
• Maintain the cleanliness of entryways, walkways, and exterior areas when required.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals according to company procedures.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform other custodial duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Work Environment

• Indoor industrial, warehouse, office, or manufacturing environment.
• May require working around cleaning chemicals, dust, noise, and varying temperatures
