Industrial Maintenance Technician (AM or PM Shift)

We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our production equipment and facility systems running safely and efficiently. If you're a hands-on troubleshooter who thrives on solving mechanical and electrical problems in a fast-paced plant environment, we want to hear from you.

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and troubleshooting of production machinery and facility infrastructure — playing a critical role in minimizing downtime and keeping operations moving.

• Shift: AM or PM
• Location: San Antonio, TX
• Pay $26-$31+per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, motors, conveyors, pumps, and other industrial control systems.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals to guide repairs.
• Perform routine inspections and equipment checks to identify issues before failures occur.
• Fabricate or modify parts as needed using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and parts/inventory records.
• Follow all OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety protocols.
• Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to schedule maintenance around production needs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED; technical/trade school certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with PLCs, motor controls, or industrial automation preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Comfortable working in a plant environment (noise, heat, moving machinery).
• Must provide and wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots.
