Seasonal Park Maintenance Attendant

Location: Smithville, MO
Pay: $15 per hour

Penmac Staffing is now hiring Seasonal Park Maintenance Attendants to help maintain park grounds and facilities for our client at Smithville Lake. This is an active, outdoor role ideal for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work and being outside during the summer months.

Requirements for the Seasonal Park Maintenance Attendant

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Ability to lift, bend, walk, and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, humid, or changing weather
• Dependable and able to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn and follow all safety procedures
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen as required by the client

Seasonal Park Maintenance Attendant Responsibilities

• Perform general groundskeeping and park maintenance
• Mow grass, trim weeds, and assist with landscaping tasks
• Empty trash and recycling containers
• Clean and restock park restrooms and facilities
• Maintain picnic areas, shelters, trails, and common spaces
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisors
• Safely operate basic hand tools and equipment

Schedule for the Seasonal Park Maintenance Attendant

• Part‑time, seasonal summer position
• Schedule varies based on park needs and weather
• Shifts may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays
