Welder/Fabricator – King George, VA
Pay Rate: $28.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

General Labor Services (GLS Staffing) is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator for our client in King George, VA.

The Welder/Fabricator is a hands-on position responsible for building rails, tacking forms, performing form maintenance and repairs, and supporting fabrication shop activities to ensure quality precast concrete production.

Responsibilities

• Build rails and fabricate components to specifications.
• Tack forms and perform form maintenance and repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with other fabrication shop duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous welding and fabrication experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with MIG welding and metal fabrication preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
