Key Responsibilities

Material Handling & Inter-Facility Coordination

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials between Door Works facilities (DW1 and DW2).
• Coordinate the movement of materials across production departments to ensure timely delivery and uninterrupted workflow.
• Prioritize and manage material requests from production teams to maintain production efficiency.
• Transport materials including but not limited to:
• • Door jambs (coordinate with Pre-Hang)
  • Doors (coordinate with DW2 production team)
  • Tongue & Groove materials
  • S4S materials
  • Custom assemblies and millwork components
  • Crown and base mouldings
  • Structural beams
  • Door carts and cabinet materials
  • Barn door tracks
  • Single doors and knock-down pairs
  • Pocket door frames
  • Custom pulls
  • Metal doors and frames
• Qualifications
• 5+ years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Experience with receiving, inventory organization, and material staging for production environments.
• Experience loading flatbed trailers or similar delivery vehicles preferred.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse material handling equipment.
• Ability to read shipping documents, packing slips, and basic inventory documentation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while supporting team operations.
