Pool Technician / Pool cleaner

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pool Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of swimming pools, ensuring they are clean, safe, and functioning properly. This role requires a strong understanding of pool systems and equipment, as well as the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Duties

• Perform regular pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including skimming, vacuuming, and brushing pool surfaces.
• Conduct thorough inspections of pool equipment and systems to identify any issues or necessary repairs.
• Maintain chemical balance in pools by testing water quality and adjusting chemicals as needed.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients about their pool needs and maintenance schedules.
• Document all services performed and report any significant findings to management.

Skills

• Proven experience in pool cleaning and maintenance is preferred, not required.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment effectively.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in pool service operations.
• Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently to meet service deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
