Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a Material Coordinator to join our dynamic team within Materials Management. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in material handling, ERP-driven transactions, and warehouse operations and a proven ability to deliver the right inventory to the right place at the right time in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate material handling and delivery to production stakeholders as a self-starter.
• Define, improve, and uphold materials process standards and SOPs.
• Execute all material transactions using Epicor (ERP).
• Read, comprehend, and follow Standard Operating Procedures to operate equipment and support manufacturing.
• Interpret and act on production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles within the plant.
• Read and use job travelers, pick lists, and system-generated workflow assignments.
• Clean, restock, and organize warehouse areas.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma.
• 2+ years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent knowledge of best practices.
• Experience using an ERP system, preferably Epicor.
• Ability to read instructions, operate machines safely, and visually inspect materials.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional teamwork experience.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and maintain attention to detail with sound organization.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and read, write, and comprehend directives in English.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with powered industrial vehicles and safe warehouse practices.
• Experience interpreting job travelers, pick lists, and production schedules.
