Family Law Attorney

SUMMARY:

Our client, a reputable law firm, is seeking a Family Law Attorney to join its team in El Segundo, CA. This role involves managing a full caseload of family law matters, with a focus on complex financial disputes, high-asset cases, and strategic client advisory. The position offers a hybrid work environment.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

- Manage family law cases from intake through resolution

- Draft, review, and file legal documents including motions, pleadings, and agreements

- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies

- Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions

- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and case developments

- Participate in client consultations, negotiations, and settlement discussions

- Collaborate with internal teams and external experts on complex financial matters

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

- Active membership in the California State Bar

- Strong experience in family law matters (divorce, custody, support, asset division)

- Proven ability to manage cases independently

- Experience drafting motions and handling litigation processes

- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills

Preferred Experience

- Experience handling high net worth or complex asset cases

- Exposure to business valuation, financial disputes, or forensic accounting concepts

- Background working with business owners, professionals, or investors
