American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and active SC or compact RN license.

- Hospital Medical/Surgical unit setting \n
- Night shift schedule working 3x12-hour shifts per week, 36 hours per week \n
- 13-week contract \n
- \n
- Active SC or compact RN license required (no pending licenses accepted) \n
- Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) \n
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course certification required \n
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience in a U.S. hospital required \n
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required \n
- BSN highly desired \n
- US Social Security Number required \n
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer \n

- Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full review of systems, and documents findings per policy \n
- Delivers age-appropriate, patient- and family-centered care across the life span \n
- Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n
