Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 18 months of recent L&D experience and night shift availability.

• Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit
\n
• Assignments may include labor/induction patients, circulating role in the OB-OR, and antepartum care
\n
• Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n
• 13-week assignment length
\n
• EPIC Stork EMR experience preferred but not required
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
\n
• Minimum 18 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience
\n
• Minimum 18 months of recent Labor and Delivery experience as home unit
\n
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and STABLE
\n
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the L&D specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
\n
• Negative 10-panel drug screen with nicotine (cotinine) testing required within 12 months of start for non-RN/CST staff; RNs are currently exempt from this requirement
\n

Additional Information\n

• Provide skilled nursing care across labor/induction, OB-OR circulating, and antepartum patient assignments
\n
• ECG rhythm recognition test and Safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass
\n
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
\n
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
\n
• Permanent and per diem candidates who previously worked at this health system must wait 1 year from their end date before returning
\n
• Assignments may be extended up to a maximum of 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless otherwise approved by the facility
\n
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
\n
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but candidates with open cases will not be accepted
\n
• License hits are not accepted by the facility
