American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of cath lab experience and RCIS or RAD certification for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details\n- \n
- Works in a multidisciplinary cardiac cath lab supporting patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures \n
- Facility performs structural heart, diagnostic and therapeutic coronary, and peripheral procedures \n
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with call assistance coverage at the Heart lab for peripheral cases as needed \n
- 40 hours per week \n

- Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP experience in a US hospital \n
- RCIS or RAD certification required \n
- Current BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required \n
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience required \n
- Must be able to scrub and pan procedures for peripheral and diagnostic studies \n
- Active license with no pending status required, if applicable \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility \n
- US Social Security Number required for consideration \n
- Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer \n

- Performs scrub and monitoring duties utilizing all aspects of catheterization equipment while applying prescribed procedures for operation of radiology imaging equipment \n
- Experience in additional specialties beyond cath lab is a plus \n
- Strong ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities is required \n
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required \n
- Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA) only \n
