American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an LTAC position requiring 2+ years of strong LTAC skills including trach, vent, and drip management.
Details\n- \n
- Work in the LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) unit of a hospital environment \n
- Night shift schedule: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM \n
- Patient ratios of 1:5-6 typical for LTAC setting \n
- Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required \n
- Floating in rotation with staff based on clinical experience and unit policies \n
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates \n

- Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) currently in hand \n
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) \n
- Minimum 2 years of current, strong LTAC experience required \n
- Required skills: tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and drip titration \n

- Provide direct patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care setting managing complex, medically fragile patients \n
- Weekend and holiday coverage expected in rotation with staff \n
- Floating conducted in accordance with facility policy and Joint Commission standards, including appropriate orientation to new units \n
- Requests for time off must be approved prior to assignment start and are preferably avoided during the initial weeks of the assignment \n
