Job Summary

CVS Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to support its Vaccination Initiative. The RN will administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine immunizations in a retail pharmacy setting while delivering safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.

Minimum Requirements

\n
• Active, unrestricted RN License
\n
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, including immunization/vaccination experience
\n
• Current BLS Certification
\n
• Experience administering Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other routine vaccines
\n
• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills
\n
• Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List
\n
• High School Diploma/GED (verification required) 
\n

Responsibilities

\n
• Administer Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other CDC-recommended vaccines
\n
• Screen patients and assess vaccination eligibility
\n
• Educate patients regarding vaccines, possible side effects, and post-vaccination care
\n
• Accurately document immunizations and maintain patient records
\n
• Follow CDC, state, and CVS vaccination protocols
\n
• Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and infection control practices
\n
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a retail clinic environment
\n
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team members
\n
• Maintain flexibility with scheduling based on business needs 
\n
