Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Postpartum (Mother Baby) position in Boston, MA, requiring prior travel experience, a MA RN license, and high-acuity patient care background.

Details\n

• Inpatient Obstetrics Postpartum Unit within a large academic medical center in Boston, MA
\n
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
\n
• 36 hours per week
\n
• Every other weekend rotation required
\n
• Holiday coverage is required as this is a seasonal assignment
\n
• No floating required
\n
• No charge nurse responsibilities required
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
\n
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required
\n
• Minimum 2 years of postpartum RN experience required
\n
• High-acuity patient care experience required
\n
• Prior travel nursing experience required
\n
• Experience with magnesium drips and telemetry monitoring highly preferred
\n
• COVID vaccine and booster required; flu vaccine required during flu season (medical exemptions permitted)
\n

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates will be considered
\n
• Any candidate who has previously worked at a Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) facility in any capacity (travel, per diem, or permanent) must have a minimum 6-month break before returning
\n
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season
\n
• Parking is available near the facility; details available upon request
