Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in Lawton, OK, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and night shift availability.

Details\n

• Hospital-based Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
\n
• Standard patient ratio of 2:1, with occasional 3:1 assignments
\n
• Floating required, including to the ED to cover holds and Med/Surg at a 5:1 ratio
\n
• Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
\n
• 36 hours per week
\n
• 5 weekend days required every 6-week period
\n
• No on-call requirements
\n
• 13-week contract
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active RN license for Oklahoma (Standard or Compact) required
\n
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and PALS (AHA)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
\n
• Willingness and ability to float is required
\n

Additional Information\n

\n
• Provides critical care to seriously ill patients, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, complex procedures, and rapid response to emergencies
\n
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans
\n
• No more than 5 days of time off (RTO) may be requested during the contract
\n
• Candidates requesting more than 7 days off, seeking more than 50% of holidays off, or with negative background or employment history may experience extended processing timelines
\n
• All compliance documentation must be submitted one week prior to the start date
\n
