Position Summary Forklift Operator:

The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, stack, and organize products throughout the warehouse. This position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely shipments, and supporting overall warehouse operations while following all company safety procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Forklift Operator:

Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, and/or pallet jack equipment safely and efficiently.
Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers.
Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging materials throughout the facility.
Stack, store, and retrieve pallets in designated warehouse locations.
Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues immediately.
Verify product quantities and inspect materials for damage.
Accurately scan and document inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS) or RF scanners.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
Keep warehouse aisles, loading docks, and work areas clean and organized.
Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Work closely with shipping, receiving, production, and quality departments to meet daily operational goals.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
