Clinical Liaison/Marketer

The Clinical Liaison/Marketer will act as a liaison for skilled nursing facilities and for assigned hospitals and designated referral sources for families. This person will be responsible for building relationships with hospitals, which generate patient referrals and admissions. The Clinical Liaison/Marketer will assess clinical needs of potential / existing residents to assure the facility has the clinical capability to treat the resident.

About the Clinical Liaison/Marketer Role

As a Clinical Liaison/Marketer you will be responsible for building relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and families to facilitate communication and coordination of care.

Clinical Liaison/Marketer Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and families to ensure effective communication and coordination of care

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and accurate transitions of care

  • Identify and address potential barriers to care, including social, economic, and environmental factors

  • Provide education and support to patients and families to ensure successful transitions

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce readmissions

Clinical Liaison/Marketer Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales and/or marketing in healthcare; long-term care marketing experience preferred

  • Familiarity with the admissions process at a sub-acute, SNF or rehab facility

  • Experience with understanding patient insurances including Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed care subacute guidelines

  • Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with social workers, nurses, physicians, and case managers in assigned hospitals and other medical facilities as appropriate

  • Excellent organizational skills with a detail orientation towards documentation

  • Computer experience and understanding of hospitals EHR system is preferred

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations

  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve in fast-paced environment
