2nd Shift Floor Tech

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare and senior living industry, is seeking a 2nd Shift Floor Tech to join their dedicated team. As a 2nd Shift Floor Tech, you will be an essential part of the Environmental Services department supporting the overall cleanliness and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will help foster a welcoming environment for residents and staff alike.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Floor Tech

Location: Gadsden, AL

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Perform floor care maintenance including cleaning, stripping, waxing, and carpet care to maintain a pristine environment.
• Assist with sanitation and waste disposal to ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Support general Environmental Services (EVS) duties, including room cleaning when necessary.
• Operate floor care equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff.

What's Needed?

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and proper use is advantageous.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations for effective communication and task completion.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to wear uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
