Make Your Mark in Metal Finishing

Step into our Whitewater, WI facility and help transform raw metal into durable, high-quality finished components. As an Industrial Powder Coating Technician, you’ll be a key player in the production flow—prepping parts, applying coatings with precision, and verifying every piece meets exacting standards.

A day in this role

You’ll begin by staging parts and reviewing job specs. From there, you’ll prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, and careful masking. You’ll set up and operate electrostatic spray equipment and curing ovens, blend powders to match color and specification, and fine-tune settings to achieve consistent, flawless coverage. Throughout the shift, you’ll inspect parts for uniformity and finish quality, keep your work area organized and safe, collaborate with teammates to hit schedules, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment running at its best.

What you’ll do
  • Prepare metal substrates by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
  • Operate powder application systems, including spray guns and curing ovens.
  • Mix and apply powders per job specifications and color requirements.
  • Inspect coated parts for consistency and quality; adjust processes as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
  • Work closely with the team to achieve production goals and deadlines.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
What you bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in coatings or painting is a plus.
  • Prior experience in powder coating or a related finishing role preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Clear communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques.

Ready to help us deliver finishes that last? We’d love to hear from you.
