Position Overview


Finly Corporation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ready Mix Concrete Dispatcher to coordinate daily concrete deliveries, manage driver schedules, and ensure efficient plant operations.

This role is critical to maintaining on-time deliveries, strong customer relationships, and smooth communication between the plant, drivers, and job sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch ready-mix concrete trucks based on customer orders and job site needs
  
  
• Coordinate with batch plant operators to align production with delivery schedules
  
  
• Communicate directly with drivers to manage routes, timing, and load assignments
  
  
• Monitor delivery progress and adjust schedules in real-time to address delays or changes
  
  
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery timing and updates
  
  
• Maintain accurate daily logs of deliveries, tickets, and driver activity
  
  
• Ensure efficient truck utilization and minimize downtime
  
  
• Work closely with sales and operations teams to prioritize and adjust orders
  
  
• Handle last-minute changes, weather delays, and job site challenges with professionalism

• Operate batch plant controls to produce concrete according to mix designs
  
  Accurately weigh and measure aggregates, cement, water, and admixtures
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, logistics, construction, or ready-mix concrete preferred
  
  
• Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
  
  
• Ability to think quickly and solve problems under pressure
  
  
• Basic computer skills (dispatch software, spreadsheets, ticketing systems)
  
  
• Knowledge of local roads, job site logistics, and construction schedules is a plus
  
  
• High school diploma or equivalent required
  
  

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Ready-mix or construction materials background
  
  
• Familiarity with batching operations
  
  
• CDL knowledge or experience working with drivers
  
  

Work Environment

• Office-based role within a concrete plant environment
