*** Part Time ***
Current hours average between 30-35 hours biweekly. Surgery center is open 2 days a week currently.
We are looking for a qualified registered nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center for part-time work. You will work with a variety of pain management patients and provide direct nursing care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Rendering of professional care to our patients, making every effort to remain a flexible, cooperative and supportive member of our clinical team.
- Acting as a liaison between the physician and the patient and patients family or support person(s).
- Maintaining the role of patient advocate.
- Must have excellent IV start skills
- Dealing compassionately, professionally, and courteously with patients, their families, physicians, and fellow staff.
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensing: Possess an active Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- Current BLS certification.
- Participation in continuing education
Clinical expertise in ambulatory surgery center nursing preferred.
