Medical & Surgical PCU RN

Role Description:

This role is responsible for safe delivery and documentation of patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) and collaboration across disciplines to drive excellent patient outcomes.

• Location:Fort Myers, FL(on-site)
• Schedule/Hours:40 hours/week

• Department/Focus:Medical & SurgicalPCU
• Core Responsibilities:Deliver and document patient care using evidence-based nursing practice; coordinate care; support quality improvement and customer service standards; practice aligned with ANA standards and Florida Nurse Practice Act.

• Relocation Package:$12,000$15,000+

Required Qualifications:

• Education:Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (Associate or Bachelors preferred)
• Experience:1+ yearrecent acute care experience(department requirements may vary)
  • PCU/Neuro:1+ yearrecent hospital bedside experience required
  • Womens Services / Endo / OR / PICU:2+ yearsexperience required
  • Less than 2 years RN experience:receives50% of hiring incentives
• Certifications:AHABLS(current for at least90 days after hire date; may vary by department)
• License:ActiveFlorida RN license
• Other:Communication/interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, customer service skills
