As an SPD Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role behind the scenes, ensuring our medical equipment and case carts are safely transported, organized, and ready for patient care. If you are a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Available Shifts

We offer excellent flexibility with three distinct shift options to fit your lifestyle:

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Logistics & Transport: Safely navigate and transport surgical case carts through the facility's tunnel system between various facilities.
• Inventory & Efficiency: Review, audit, and reorganize surgical trays within the case carts to maximize space and efficiency.
• Decontamination Support: Promptly return used/dirty trays and empty case carts back to the sterilization area to prepare them for reprocessing.
• Team Collaboration: Assist the broader SPD team with other daily operational and logistical support tasks as needed.

What We Are Looking For

• Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and accountability are a must.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, push, and pull heavy case carts throughout a standard shift.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to organize complex medical trays accurately.
• Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with clinical and support staff.
• Local Residency: Candidates local to the NY Metro Area are strongly preferred to ensure consistent, reliable shift attendance.
