Pharmacy Technician / Trainee

A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Tech/Pharmacy Tech trainee in Mechanicsville VA 23116 with a Major Closed-door Specialty Pharmacy.

Pharmacy Tech Job Highlights:

• The pay for this position is $16.50/hr for licensed trainee techs and $17.50/hr for fully licensed techs.

Shift Options:

1. Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon 5:00am - 3:00pm

2. Sun, Wed, Thurs, Fri 3:30pm - 1:30am

3. Sun, Mon, Tues, Thurs 5:00am - 3:00pm

Pharmacy Tech Job Responsibilities:

• Process prescription exceptions including resolving claim rejects and outreach to members and physicians
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member issues.
• Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing
• Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls
• Other duties as assigned

Pharmacy Tech Job Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred but not required 
• Current Pharmacy tech license or Pharmacy tech trainee license in Virginia
• High school diploma
