About Us

Optimum Performance Center is a fast-paced multidisciplinary healthcare clinic providing Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, and Rehabilitation services. We are looking for a dependable, professional, and highly organized Front Desk Associate who takes initiative, enjoys helping patients, and can confidently manage a busy medical office.

This is a position for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and takes pride in doing things correctly without constant supervision..

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and compassion.
  • Answer and manage a high-volume, multi-line phone system.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments accurately.
  • Verify insurance benefits, authorizations, and patient eligibility.
  • Collect copays, balances, and process patient payments.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in our EMR.
  • Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Monitor schedules and identify potential issues before they become problems.
  • Keep the front office organized, clean, and running efficiently.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 years of front desk, medical receptionist, or healthcare administrative experience.
  • Experience verifying insurance benefits and obtaining authorizations.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing situations.
  • Experience with AdvancedMD or another EMR system.
