Pediatric Dental Anesthesia Associates seeking a registered nurse with experience in pediatric, surgical intervention/anesthesia, and/or critical care to join our team as a lead nurse. We are a concierge practice and ask that you have a professional appearance and dynamic personality!
Job Summary:
The clinical team lead plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care. This position involves detailed scheduling, supervising daily nursing activities, managing pre-operative and post-operative communication, upholding quality improvement standards, and leading customer service excellence. The clinical team lead also communicates and works regularly with the anesthesiologist to coordinate care and maintain operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Scheduling: Organize and confirm nursing schedules 2–3 months in advance. Communicate changes promptly.
- Daily Operations: Assistant and support anesthesiologist.
- Pre- and Post-Op Care: Ensure all pre-op requirements are completed, send patient instructions, and follow up post-op to monitor recovery.
- Quality Improvement: Track and document QI data and ensure compliance with protocols. Attend quarterly training meetings.
- Customer Service & Communication: Maintain excellent relationships with staff, dentists, and patients. Support social media engagement as needed.
- Leadership Reporting: Provide regular updates to the anesthesiologist on staffing, operations, and pre-op preparation.
Expected Skills and Qualifications:
- Active RN/LPN license
- BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient with Google Calendar and scheduling tools
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to patient care and service excellence
Job Type: Part-Time (10+ Days per Month)
- Schedule provided 1–3 months in advance
- Guaranteed 10-day-per-month salary available
Compensation:
- $50.00–$60.00 per hour, based on education and experience
