Job Description
Pharmacy Technician
Location: Horsham, PA 19044
Pay Rate: $24.45 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Contract Assignment
Available Shifts:
- 2 Openings: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with alternating weekends
- 2 Openings: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, with alternating weekends

A-Line Staffing is currently hiring Pharmacy Technicians for a leading long-term care (closed-door) pharmacy in Horsham, PA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced pharmacy team supporting patient care in a professional healthcare environment.
Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
- Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepare and fill prescriptions accurately.
- Prepare IV medications and assist with sterile compounding as assigned.
- Enter prescription information into the pharmacy system for processing and billing.
- Assist with medication prepackaging in accordance with pharmacy standards and government regulations.
- Support pharmacists with final prescription verification by staging medications for review and packaging completed prescriptions.
- Coordinate accurate and timely medication preparation for delivery.
- Receive, stock, and rotate medications and pharmacy supplies.
- Maintain inventory by monitoring lot numbers, expiration dates, and assisting with physical inventory counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
- Assist with equipment cleaning, calibration checks, and routine maintenance.
- Follow all state, federal, and company policies regarding pharmacy operations.
Pharmacy Technician Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician registration with the Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy is required.
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred; long-term care or closed-door pharmacy experience is a plus.
- Experience with prescription processing, medication preparation, or IV preparation is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to work alternating weekends.
- Must be available to begin work immediately.
