Sales Representative

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to join our growing construction and fence installation company. This individual will be responsible for generating new business, building long-term client relationships, and managing the sales process from prospecting through project completion.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of inside and/or outside sales experience within the construction, manufacturing, building materials, or related industries and enjoys working directly with residential and commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and customer visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, general contractors, builders, property managers, HOAs, municipalities, and commercial clients.
• Meet with prospective customers to understand project needs and recommend appropriate fencing solutions.
• Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and pricing for residential and commercial fence installation projects.
• Follow up on quotes and negotiate contracts to close new business.
• Collaborate with the operations and installation teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline of new opportunities and update customer information within the company's CRM system.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry functions to generate new leads.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market pricing.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales goals while providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of inside and/or outside sales experience within the construction, manufacturing, building materials, fencing, landscaping, or related industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience preparing estimates, proposals, or bids is preferred.
• Comfortable generating new business through cold calling, networking, and face to face meetings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
