Location: Wilmington, NC – Pier 33 Building

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time — early morning shift, typically wrapped up by early

afternoon

About the Role

Bagel Boss Wilmington is looking for a Grill Cook to join our small, close-knit team and help us turn out hot, consistent breakfast and lunch items every morning. If you take pride in a clean, well-run grill station and can keep up during a rush without cutting corners, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Cook eggs, bacon, sausage, and other grill items to order, quickly and consistently
• Build hot breakfast and lunch sandwiches to Bagel Boss standards
• Manage multiple orders at once, keeping timing accurate during busy rushes
• Keep the grill, flat-top, and cook line clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift
• Monitor food temperatures and follow all food safety and health standards
• Communicate clearly with the front-of-house and prep teams to keep orders moving
• Restock grill station supplies and ingredients as needed

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable with early-morning hours (this is an early-start role — but early finish!)
• Prior grill, line cook, or kitchen experience preferred — but we're happy to train the right person with a strong work ethic
• Able to stay calm, fast, and accurate under pressure during rushes
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs (bags, boxes, supply cases, etc.)
• Food handler's certification a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
