Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)-Monroe Township - Middlesex County

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in the comfort of their homes. The roles are in Monroe Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey. If you require CHHA certification support, we will support you!

Duties
- Provide assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Support with medications reminders according to prescribed schedules
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals while considering dietary restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Document client progress and care provided in medical records

Requirements
- Prior experience in patient care, memory care, caregiving, dementia care, or related fields is preferred
- Ability to cook and assist with meal preparation
- Proficiency in medication administration and medical documentation
- Knowledge of home health practices and protocols
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (CHHA) or completion of a formal training program is a plus

Qualifications

-High school diploma or equivalent

-Must have completed a homemaker home health aide training program approved by the NJ Board of Nursing and shall be certified by the Board and provide evidence of certification.

-Must be free from health problems that may be injurious to patient, self, and co-workers and must present appropriate evidence to substantiate this

-Must comprehend the basics of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation

-Must understand, and respect, clients, including ethics and confidentiality of care

-Must have current CPR certification
