About the Position

Our client is seeking a Class B CDL Driver for a local flatbed delivery opportunity in Hayward, California. This role involves transporting plumbing and water work materials, with typical daily mileage of 150 to 200 miles. The position includes heavy-touch material handling and warehouse support.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $34.00 per hour
• Estimated Weekly Gross: $1,350
• Schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., including a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Long-term flex
• Start Date: August 17, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver materials safely and on schedule as directed by your supervisor.
• Operate a flatbed truck while ensuring materials are properly secured and within weight limits.
• Assist with receiving, shipping, inventory management, and material handling tasks.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Follow all applicable DOT standards and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Ability to read, understand, and write on work orders.
• Experience operating the required vehicle types or equipment.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
