Manpower is hiring Production Associates for a leading food manufacturing facility in Downingtown, PA. We have multiple openings available on both first and second shift. If you're looking for a long-term opportunity with weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and immediate openings, we encourage you to attend our upcoming job fair.
1st Shift – $18.00/hour
- Monday-Friday with Saturdays as needed
- Daily start times vary between approximately 5:00 AM and 8:00 AM
- Monday-Friday with Saturdays as needed
- Daily start times vary between approximately 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM
As a Production Associate, you'll help produce bakery products while working on a production line. Responsibilities may include:
- Handling bread, dough, pastries, garlic bread, and other bakery products.
- Stacking, packing, labeling, sorting, and inspecting finished products.
- Loading materials and keeping the production line operating efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area while following food safety and quality standards.
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, twisting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout your shift.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Working on your feet for 8-12 hour shifts in a production environment.
We're looking for dependable candidates who:
- Have reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Are comfortable standing and walking for 8-12 hour shifts.
- Can lift up to 35 pounds throughout the shift.
- Are comfortable performing repetitive work in a food manufacturing environment.
- Are flexible with changing daily start times.
- Are available to work overtime and Saturdays when needed.
- Can wear steel-toe or composite-toe shoes.
- Can follow all food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Understand this is a peanut-free facility where peanut and tree nut products are not permitted inside the production area.
- Can comply with production appearance requirements, including no facial piercings while working in production.
