Temporary Dental Hygienist

We are looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team while our current hygienist is on maternity leave. This is a temporary position with the potential to continue as a permanent one-day-per-week hygienist after the maternity leave ends.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings and prophylaxis
• Take and process dental X-rays
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices
• Maintain infection control and sterilization procedures
• Chart patient information accurately in digital records
• Assist with scheduling and patient record management
• Ensure proper maintenance of dental equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene
• Registered Dental Hygienist License
• Experience in dental prophylaxis and patient care
• Knowledge of oral health education and infection control
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Effective time management skills
