Carpenter Foreman

Serious applicants only. We are not looking for helpers or entry-level carpenters. Applicants must have hands-on experience leading residential renovation projects and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead carpentry crews on residential renovation projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Perform and oversee rough and finish carpentry work.
• Install cabinetry, trim, molding, doors, hardware, flooring, framing, and other finish carpentry.
• Ensure all work is completed with a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and manpower with the project manager.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
• Troubleshoot field issues and provide practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment.
• Ability to accurately read blueprints and take precise measurements.
• Experience with framing, drywall, trim, cabinetry, doors, molding, flooring, and general carpentry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation to job sites throughout Manhattan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of carpentry experience
• 2+ years supervising crews or serving as a foreman preferred
• OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
• SST 10 Certification (Required)

Work Schedule

• 35-hour work week
• Payroll cycle: Tuesday through Monday
• Payday: Thursday
