heavy Forklift Operator

New Tech Global is currently seeking a Heavy-Duty Forklift Operator for a client in Navasota, TX.

Payrate: $18-$20 hourly
Overview 

• Operate large forklifts to transport heavy drill pipe and related materials across the facility
• Load and unload trucks safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with all safety and environmental regulations
• Stage and deliver materials to production lines to maintain a steady workflow
• Perform accurate and timely inventory and material movement transactions using internal systems
• Conduct daily inspections and perform basic maintenance of equipment
• Work independently and manage daily tasks with minimal supervision
• Interpret and follow written and verbal instructions effectively

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Proven experience operating large forklifts or heavy equipment (experience with tubular materials a plus)
• Background in material handling, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
• Basic computer literacy; ERP or inventory system experience desirable
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork
• Flexibility to work 12-hour day or night shifts
