Metal Stud Framer

Gillmann Services is NOW HIRING carpenters with extensive metal stud framing and drywall experience for a commercial project near Spartanburg, SC. Project duration one year or more.

Start ASAP. Pay $30, working 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately measure and cut metal framing for installation
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate installation of studs
• Perform all steps of drywall hanging as a team
• Hang walls, top-outs, ceilings, insulated metal panels
• Inspect framing surfaces, materials for imperfections, mark for repair- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area- Use all required hand and power tools
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation- Knowledge of all required hand and power tools, have own hand tools for work required
• Experience with all types of commercial drywall boards- Ability to make accurate measurements using tapes, squares, straightedges etc.- Ability to work without direct supervision and maintain productivity
• Must consent to and pass a background check and drug test
• Must adhere to onsite safety and PPE guidelines at all times
• Must have reliable transportation and be available to work hours specified (10 hours/day, 13 days on 1 day off)
