Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license for New York State.
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatrics is a plus, but not required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to middle school students, addressing a wide range of health needs.
• Assess and manage student illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions during the school day.
• Administer medications and prescribed treatments, ensuring compliance with physician directives and district policies.
• Maintain thorough documentation and accurate health records for all students.
• Work in partnership with educators, school counselors, families, and healthcare providers to promote student wellness and support successful learning.
• Act swiftly in medical emergencies, providing appropriate, compassionate care.
