Job Description
Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Manufacturing Technician is responsible for manufacturing membrane used in commercial projects. This role includes operating and maintaining equipment, utilizing laboratory tools to prepare and dispense solutions, and collecting and recording data related to equipment operations.
Responsibilities- Follow a recipe and mix chemicals to create coatings for sheets.
- Operate the lamination machine to coat sheets.
- Apply adhesive to laminated filter sheets.
- Stack and compress membrane sheets using a compressor machine.
- Operate and troubleshoot various industrial machines.
- Enter data into Excel.
- Adhere to manufacturing processes as instructed.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- 2+ years of experience operating industrial machinery.
- 2+ years of experience in basic troubleshooting.
- 1+ years of experience handling chemicals or similar materials.
- Experience with machine operation, troubleshooting, and fabrication.
- Skills in measuring tools and chemical mixing.
- Knowledge in measuring, weighing, and basic calculations.
- Ability to store and dispose of chemicals safely.

Work EnvironmentWork in a busy manufacturing environment with various machines across different rooms. The floor is dynamic, with technicians moving throughout. The environment is casual, with a relaxed dress code requiring safety shoes and glasses. The shift runs from 5:30 am to 2:00 pm.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newark, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr.
