Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain fixed asset records and related schedules

• Calculate and record monthly depreciation and amortization entries

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes

• Support financial reporting and account analysis activities

• Maintain accurate supporting documentation for accounting transactions

• Assist with audits and requests for financial information

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• 3+ years of accounting experience preferred

• Experience with fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and general ledger functions

• Strong understanding of journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
