Production Technician / Machine Builder

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 1st and 2nd Shift Positions available

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Technician / Machine Builder to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting the production of precision automated equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, pneumatic, and electromechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Build and install custom production equipment and manufacturing machinery.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, and assembly documentation.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or a related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Valley, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
