Delivery Driver (Box Truck Driver / Route Driver)

Location: Costa Mesa / Santa Ana, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Pay: $22.00+/hour (Depending on Experience)

Overview

We are seeking dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Drivers with box truck experience to support a variety of companies throughout the Costa Mesa and Santa Ana areas.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being on the road, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring products are delivered safely and on time. Successful candidates will have experience operating box trucks, managing delivery routes, and handling loading and unloading responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks to transport products and materials to customer locations

• Load, unload, and secure cargo for transport

• Perform local deliveries according to assigned routes and schedules

• Verify delivery paperwork, invoices, and shipping documents

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs

• Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch personnel

• Follow all company safety policies and traffic regulations

• Assist with warehouse duties as needed between deliveries

Qualifications

• Previous box truck driving and delivery experience required

• Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record

• Ability to safely operate box trucks and delivery vehicles

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift (up to 50lbs)

• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Familiarity with local streets, GPS navigation, and route planning preferred

Work Environment

• Local delivery routes throughout Orange County and surrounding areas

• Frequent driving, loading, unloading, and customer interaction

• Warehouse and distribution environments

• Physical role requiring lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling

• Overtime opportunities may be available depending on assignment
