Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker supports day-to-day warehouse operations by working cross-functionally across a variety of tasks to move products and packages throughout the facility. This role focuses on the safe and efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods, including loading and unloading materials, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The Warehouse Worker also helps maintain a clean, organized work area and collaborates closely with team members to foster a positive work environment and healthy team culture.
Responsibilities
- Move products and packages throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, high reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools.
- Conduct equipment checks prior to the start of each shift and promptly notify supervision of any issues, defects, or safety concerns.
- Load and unload materials and merchandise from trucks and place them in the correct storage locations within the warehouse.
- Notify supervision of any deficiencies in product quality, customer shortages, or damaged goods encountered during handling.
- Stage pallets as needed for shipment, ensuring products are organized and ready for outbound orders.
- Select products according to order tickets and accurately place them in boxes for shipment, including product labeling and box building as required.
- Assemble daily shipments based on order location and category to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
- Pack orders into appropriate shipping containers to meet customer delivery requirements and prevent damage during transit.
- Inspect products during packing to ensure there is no damage and that quality standards are met.
- Perform quality control assessments on packed items and stack them safely and securely on pallets or in designated areas.
- Build boxes as needed to support the shipment of products to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with warehouse policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other warehouse team members to support a positive team culture and efficient operations.

- Mon-Fri: 4:00pm - 12:30am
Essential Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse or forklift-related role.
- At least 1 year spent in each role on resume.
- Experience with warehouse management and material handling processes.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, high reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Ability to use RF scanners for inventory and order picking activities.
- Experience with packing, picking, and inventory management in a warehouse environment.
- Forklift certification (pallet jack or high reach) preferred, with the ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a cold storage environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order selection, labeling, and packing.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and perform equipment checks before use.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a cold storage facility is a plus.
- Familiarity with quality control processes in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Ability to identify and report product quality issues, shortages, or damage.
- Comfort working cross-functionally across different warehouse tasks and areas.
- Strong communication skills to interface effectively with supervisors and team members.

Work Environment
This position is based in a cold storage warehouse facility, where temperatures consistently remain below 40 degrees and can be as low as -2 degrees. Team members work around powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, high reach trucks, and pallet jacks, and regularly handle pallets, boxes, and packaged goods. The role requires comfort working in a physically active environment with ongoing loading, unloading, picking, and packing activities. Shift flexibility is essential, with schedules including Tuesday through Saturday from 07:00 to 15:30 and Monday through Friday from 16:00 to 00:30. The facility operates with a strong focus on safety, equipment checks, and adherence to operational procedures.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
