Growing Manufacturing company currently recruiting for a full time Mechanical Engineer in Kent, Ohio.
•Manage projects from initial design concept through production.
•Support our sales team by working with customer engineering and internal/external manufacturing teams.
•Complete and release product designs which meet customer requirements and internal best practices.
•Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Communicate project status to critical project stakeholders, and escalate concerns when appropriate.
•Maintain accurate product development records.
•Travel infrequently to interface with customer engineering and manufacturing bases.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Proficiency in AutoCAD Project Design Suite and Inventor (3D).
•Drawing and Design Experience in the packaging industry.
•Minimum of 5 years as an engineer/designer in the packaging industry or related field.
•Proven track record of successful machine design.
•Being proficient in project design, layout design, and modern engineering practices.
Required Abilities / Skills / Essential Functions:
•Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
•Must be able to read, write, and comprehend written plans.
•Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
