Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery, facilities, and utilities, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for training other mechanics and operators to maintain machinery in excellent working condition.

• Perform repairs to all machinery, facilities, and utilities per work orders.
• Coordinate completion of work orders for regular maintenance and preventative maintenance of machines, facilities, and utilities.
• Log and track specific work functions on production equipment to determine and periodically update an effective preventative maintenance program.
• Conduct major preventative maintenance related to electrical or mechanical functions.
• Train other mechanics and operators to effectively keep machinery in good working condition.

• Experience in electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance.
• Skilled in lock out tag out procedures.
• Proficient in electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

• 2-3 years of experience or relevant degree/certifications.

The work environment is in a food-grade manufacturing facility, which can be loud and hot. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Shepherdsville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
