We are looking for an experienced Family Law Paralegal to support a busy legal team in Bridgewater, Massachusetts area. This position is well suited for someone who can manage case details with accuracy, communicate effectively with clients, and contribute to the progress of matters involving domestic relations and related proceedings. The ideal candidate brings practical knowledge of family law procedures and can work confidently in a fast-paced legal environment.


Responsibilities:

• Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents, case files, and correspondence for family law and domestic relations matters.

• Support attorneys with case progression by drafting pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other court-related filings.

• Communicate with clients, courts, and outside parties to gather information, provide updates, and coordinate next steps in active matters.

• Track deadlines, hearing dates, and filing requirements to help ensure matters move forward on schedule.

• Assist with probate-related issues and other connected legal matters when they intersect with family law cases.

• Review records and supporting documentation to help attorneys prepare for hearings, negotiations, and other proceedings.

• Conduct legal and factual research related to civil litigation and family law matters as needed.

• Help manage case administration from intake through resolution while maintaining accurate and organized documentation.

• At least 2 years of paralegal experience working in family law matters.
• Practical knowledge of domestic relations procedures and related court filings.
• Experience supporting civil litigation matters, including document preparation and case organization.
• Familiarity with probate issues and their interaction with family law cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and court interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in organizing legal files, tracking case activity, and handling confidential information.
