Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed cardiac medical progressive care department specializing in cardiac and respiratory conditions.
\n
• Monitor telemetry and interpret management of dysrhythmias, ensuring patient stability and safety.
\n
• Manage cardiac and vasoactive drips without titration, and administer procedural sedation as required.
\n
• Provide tracheostomy management and manage external CPAP and BIPAP systems.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Rapid Response Teams, for comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and participate in self-assigned scheduling via Optilink.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac stepdown or progressive care unit.
\n
• Valid RN license with active certification in BLS and ACLS; NIHSS preferred.
\n
• Previous charge RN experience preferred but not required.
\n
• Proficiency in the management of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
\n
• Familiarity with procedures such as peripheral and PICC line management.
\n
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems required.
\n
