American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) with at least 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification.
Details\n- \n
- High-risk OB and Maternal Fetal Medicine work setting within a hospital-based ultrasound department \n
- Patient population includes high-risk obstetric and maternal fetal medicine cases across all trimesters \n
- OB/GYN ultrasound procedures performed include fetal anatomical surveys, nuchal translucency screening, umbilical cord Doppler, amniotic fluid index, placenta previa assessment, inter/intra-orbital measurements, and multiple pregnancy evaluations \n
- Fetal structures assessed include head, heart, abdomen, abdominal circumference, bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, diaphragm, duodenal atresia/intussusception, fingers/toes, and gender \n
- Procedures include amniocentesis \n
- GE ultrasound equipment used \n
- Epic EMR experience preferred \n
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM \n

- Minimum of 2 years of OB/GYN sonography experience \n
- ARDMS OB/GYN and Nuchal Translucency (NT) certifications required \n
- Current BLS certification required \n
- Proficiency across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scanning required \n
- Experience with high-risk OB and maternal fetal medicine settings required \n
- License required if applicable \n
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position \n

- First-time travelers are accepted for this position \n
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler \n
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation \n
- All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of consideration \n
- Onboarding modules are completed onsite during orientation and average 2–3 hours for allied health professionals \n
