Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiac Surgical ICU position requiring at least 2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details\n

• Work in an 18-bed adult Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit within a Heart & Vascular Institute
\n
• Care for patients with a wide range of cardiovascular disease across all phases of illness
\n
• Fast paced, highly acute unit delivering care via an interdisciplinary team
\n
• 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week
\n
• Rotating day/night shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required
\n
• Uses Epic for charting
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active MA RN license required; pending or conditional licenses not accepted
\n
• Current BLS certification required (AHA preferred, Red Cross accepted at most locations)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Surgical ICU experience required
\n
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
\n
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start and upon renewal
\n
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions
\n

• Deliver high-quality, research-based critical care to cardiac surgical patients as part of an interdisciplinary team
\n
• Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility and will be considered at a reduced rate
\n
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
\n
• Public parking is available near Boston-area locations at an additional daily cost
