Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA, with 1+ year of experience and ARDMS certification required.

  • Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across two campuses, serving outpatient, interventional radiology, emergency, and inpatient settings
  • \n
  • Performs general ultrasound across adult, emergency department, NICU, and pediatric populations, including portables
  • \n
  • OB/GYN ultrasound scope includes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester exams and fetal anatomical surveys
  • \n
  • Procedures include abdominal (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, aorta, appendix), renal/pelvic, small parts (thyroid, breast, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum), and OB/GYN studies
  • \n
  • Procedures also include paracentesis, thoracentesis, and breast cyst aspiration; amniocentesis experience preferred
  • \n
  • Equipment includes GE and Philips ultrasound systems and PACS
  • \n
  • Charting in Epic is required
  • \n
  • 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • \n
  • May float to a nearby sister campus
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound technologist experience
  • \n
  • Current BLS and ARDMS certification required
  • \n
  • ARDMS AB, ARDMS OB/GYN, and ARRT S certifications preferred
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • Experience in a teaching hospital and community hospital setting required
  • \n
  • Trauma Level I hospital experience required
  • \n
  • Proficiency in general, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound required
  • \n
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • \n
  • 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty are required for consideration
  • \n
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n
  • License required if applicable
  • \n

  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler

  • All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment

  • Must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

  • RTO requests should be kept to a minimum, as excessive requests may delay or impact the offer process
  • \n
  • Scrubs of any color are acceptable; reddish-orange scrubs are not permitted
