# Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Alabama**Start Date:** August 3, 2026 **Location:** Alabama **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)**Highlights:**- 13-week travel assignment in a critical care environment- Electronic Medical Records system: Meditech Expanse- Critical care focus including ventilator management, drip management, IABP, and post-cardiac catheterization care- Local candidates welcome to apply at the same rate- Limited time-off availability during contract period- Previous travel experience preferred**Requirements:**- Active Alabama State RN license or Compact (eNLC) RN license- 1-2 years of ICU nursing experience- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required- Demonstrated competency in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring- Experience with drip management, IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump), and post-cardiac catheterization patient care- Professional references required- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This ICU position offers the chance to utilize advanced critical care skills in a fast-paced environment where you'll care for complex cardiovascular and critically ill patients.
